Visiting Assistant Professor of English
Summary
The Department of English invites applications for a one-year Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin in August 2026.
We seek a colleague to join our genial department and teach first-year writing. There will be three sections of ENG 111 each semester, enrollment capped at 16 students per section. All teaching is in person.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in English, rhetoric and composition, professional writing, or a closely related area
- Recent and successful experience teaching college-level first-year writing
- A commitment to participating in the life of the department and a liberal arts campus
