Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology
The Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo invites applications for a non-tenure track, visiting assistant professor position beginning in Fall 2026 (75% teaching, 25% service). Visiting assistant professors are expected to teach both face-to-face and online sections during the fall and spring semesters.
The successful candidates will have a PhD in Psychology (or a related field) and will teach three undergraduate courses per semester (e.g., Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, Graduate Statistics). Depending on training and teaching experience, other possible assignments could include upper level courses (e.g., Social Cognition, Cultural Psychology) at the intermediate and advanced levels. Suitable candidates must demonstrate strong teaching skills. The successful applicant will also conduct service work for the department and university (e.g., serving on student committees, attending recruitment events).
