Visiting Assistant Professor, Philosophy
Position Summary:
The Department of Philosophy at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy for a 1-year term, from August 2026 until May 2027. We are seeking applicants able to teach Introduction to Philosophy, Formal Logic, Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy, and other courses in their area of specialization. The teaching load is eight courses per year (four courses per semester).

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- Doctorate or ABD in Philosophy
- Ability to develop and deliver curriculum
- Commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence and to our liberal arts mission
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior college-level teaching experience
