Job Summary
Reporting to the department chair, the visiting instructor of Health Sciences will teach five courses per semester in the areas of Health Communication, Management of Health Information, Nutrition, Population Health Sciences, and Epidemiology. This is an academic year appointment for the months of August 2026 - May 2027. All visiting positions are non-tenure track appointments.
Required Qualifications
- Earned Master's Degree in Health Sciences, or a closely related field, by June 1, 2026 with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Health Sciences.
- Experience in online instruction at the college level.
- Demonstrated commitment to student engagement in the online environment.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
- Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in academic programs with an interdisciplinary studies focus.
- Experience in a healthcare organization.
