We are seeking UK based teaching staff to deliver Level 4 and Level 5 Business modules as part of the joint undergraduate programme between the University of Roehampton and Hunan University of Finance and Economics (HUFE), located in Changsha, China.

This international teaching opportunity delivered on site at the HUFE campus in Changsha runs from February to June 2026, in the first instance

Programme Overview: The HUFE–Roehampton partnership offers a 4-year undergraduate programme in Business and Finance. Students complete Years 1–3 at HUFE and may opt to finish Year 4 either at HUFE (Bachelor of Management) or at Roehampton (BSc (Hons) International Business and Finance). There are currently around 400 students enrolled on this partnership programme.

Modules to be delivered include:

  • Business Organisations in a Global Economy
  • Business Data Analysis
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Western Economics
  • HR and Organisation Development?
  • Analysing Financial Performance
  • Accounting for Organisations
  • Project Management

Teaching is delivered over 4 weeks in blocks with up to 5 weeks in China. Accommodation is provided, along with an allowance of £50 (per day) to cover in country expenses. Travel costs from the UK and visa costs are also covered. Rate of Pay £56.72 per hour.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise of teaching in universities, in the above areas and experience in international or cross-cultural education delivery. Successful candidates will receive a full induction in relation to expectations in relation to teaching and working in China.
