Visiting Professional Lecturer of Economics

Salary/Pay Rate:

This appointment is for 6 months. The typical full-year salary range for this position is $75,000–$80,000. Remuneration for this appointment will be prorated for the Spring 2026 semester only.

Job Summary:

The Department of Economics & Finance at Marist University invites applications for the position of Visiting Professional Lecturer of Economics to join the School of Management for the Spring 2026. The faculty member will have the opportunity to teach core economics offerings, in particular Principles of Macroeconomics and Intermediate Macroeconomics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A masters degree in economics, or evidence of having studied economics
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate courses in economics

Essential Functions:

Applicants should have the ability to teach economics in the field of macroeconomics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of successful teaching
