Visiting Professor
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Programming, the University of Michigan Law School is hiring a visiting professor to teach a two-credit seminar (20% effort for the semester) on International Criminal Law during the winter 2026 semester. The selected candidate will be expected to teach, hold regular office hours, evaluate students' performance, and assign grades.
A cover letter is required for consideration for this position and should be attached as the first page of your resume. The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to this position. Please also include a list of states in which you have ever been licensed to practice law.
- JD degree or equivalent
- Current full time faculty appointment at an accredited law school
- Extensive scholarly publication record
