Job Description
The East Asian Institute (EAI) at the National University of Singapore is seeking a highly qualified researcher with a strong background in Chinese domestic and elite politics as well as international relations to join our multidisciplinary team. The appointment will be for a period of twelve months.

Field: Chinese Politics and International Relations
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on Chinese domestic/elite politics and the international relations of East Asia, particularly on China and Taiwan in relation to the wider Asia-Pacific and the United States.
- Support research projects and work collaboratively with a research team.
- Contribute to EAI’s Background Briefs for a policy-maker audience.
- Engage the public through commentary, op-eds, and seminars.
- Publish in academic journals and other reputable platforms.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Political Science, International Relations or related field.
- 8+ years of work experience in research or any relevant areas.
