Visiting Research Scholar Opportunity at CTBU

CTBU is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the Southwest of China, with suburban setting of the large city of Chongqing with enrollment of 30,000 students. The well-funded appointment will initially be made on a three-year budget with annual renewable process. It is a great opportunity for scholars who wants to travel internationally during summer/winter break or sabbatical and conduct academic research work.

We offer competitive packages based on representative achievement in publications. Annual stipend (over USD25,000) and additional publication incentives are provided. Any joint publication incentives are based on SSCI or SCOPUS rankings in the web of science. Special rewards will be provided for joint publications in top journals. Reimburse round-trip air tickets and lodging once a year.

Job Requirement

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or Applied Math or equivalent in a relevant field. Evidence of productive research is required, and experience working in an interdisciplinary setting is desirable. If current travel restrictions persist, applicants may be able work remotely until they are able to obtain a visa and enter China. Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, a research statement, and three reference names (verifiable).
