About the role
We have an opportunity for an Associate Lecturer to contribute to teaching, learning, and curriculum development within the physiotherapy discipline. We are dedicated to delivering education that ensures students are practice-ready upon graduation. To help students integrate theory into practice, we use a range of teaching methods, including problem-based learning, simulated clinical environments, clinical placements, and interdisciplinary workshops. Our commitment extends to advancing high-impact research across a broad area of physiotherapy practice.
Detailed Description
About You
As an Associate Lecturer, you will need a passion for educational excellence and be committed to delivering an outstanding student experience. This role will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful you will also need:
• Qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration (or limited registration for teaching and research with AHPRA)
• Comprehensive knowledge of physiotherapy principles and practices, with preferred areas of expertise in cardiopulmonary and/or neurology physiotherapy
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development
• Demonstrated ability to forge links with the Physiotherapy profession and other key stakeholders
• Experience in teaching physiotherapy at undergraduate and/or post-graduate levels is preferred

Remuneration/Salary
Base Salary Range: $89,818 to $109,393 pa (pro-rata)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
The position is part-time (0.8 FTE) and will be offered on a continuing basis.
