Your new challenge

• You will be responsible for teaching, continuing education and research with a specific application orientation in the following subject area: Psychology in the Healthcare System
• There will be a particular emphasis on psychological questions in the context of health and healthcare.
• You will be committed to strengthening the specialist profile of the Department, will work on an interdisciplinary basis in the context of cross-departmental cooperation predominantly on the Stendal campus and will be involved in the development of the range of international programmes offered.
• We expect you to successfully develop areas of research emphasis in the area of the appointment and, if the conditions are met, to participate in our Doctoral Centre for Social, Health and Economic Sciences.

What you offer

You have a university degree in the field of Health Sciences, Public Health, Social Science, Social Medicine or Medicine with a clearly evident focus on psychology or a Psychology degree. You have a particular aptitude for scientific work, which will generally be evidenced by a qualifying doctorate, preferably in a subject at the intersection between psychology, the healthcare system and rehabilitation. You have pedagogic skills and experience, ideally with experience teaching in universities.
