Overview
NacevilleQuarry, a partner of The H&K Group, Inc is searching for the ideal Water Truck Driver/Groundsperson to join their team! The driver operates water truck to transport and dump water for dust suppression, and assist with plant maintenance. A CDL license is not required.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows company safety policies and MSHA policies.
- Perform pre and post trip of truck every day and fill out daily inspection sheets.
- Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate water truck.
- Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals.
- Does regular inspection of roadways to determine dust suppression needs.
- Performs routine maintenance on truck such as lubricating and cleaning.
- Perform all work following company policies and procedures.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Driver’s license
- Clean Driving record
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Mathematical skills
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
- Applicable safety certifications from OSHA, MSHA, etc.
- Previous experience in surface mining, construction materials, heavy civil and highway construction
