The Wayne State College graduate Counseling Department is looking to hire a full-time lecturer with a master's degree in a counseling related field (Doctorate preferred). The ideal candidate is able and interested in serving our CACREP graduate counseling programs in creative and flexible ways. As a lecturer, this position will be required to teach five graduate courses per semester but is not required to serve on official campus committees, conduct advising, nor is required to engage in creative or scholarly academic activities. For somebody who loves to teach and interact with students, this is the perfect position. Wayne State College’s graduate Counseling Department delivers curriculum through an online, residency-based model, similar to many graduate counseling programs across the country. Our residency program meets two weekends per semester, for a total of four weekends during the regular academic calendar. This lecturer position can be renewed for up to three years. Desired start date is Fall 2025.
