Job Description:
Summary:
The WCL Facilities Services Support will be an AU Federal Work
Study (FWS) student available to work a minimum of 15 - 20 per
week. Shift hours will be Mon - Fri, with customized shifts
determined by the supervisor based on building activity. The
position will not offer any over time or weekend pay. Core duties
of the position will be to provide administrative support to the
Facilities Service Coordinators.
The position will report directly to the Facilities Service
Manager, and will shadow the Facilities Services Coordinators as
part of the training module. This position is available for
immediate placement at the beginning of every new semester and will
run through the summer months based on building activities.

Essential Functions:
- Support: Assist Facilities Service Coordinators-front desk
covers, task shadowing.
Surveying: Monitor the Warren parking garage, offer guest
assistance.
Staffing: Manage the Yuma front desk for incoming deliveries
and guest access.
Labor: Handle office and furniture moves.
Physical: Lift items weighing 25-50 lbs.
Service: Interface at the auxiliary/admin front desk.
Operations: assist with room scheduling, AU ID card
coding.
Assistance: Help with parking kiosks and lockers.
Onboarding: Assist new WCL staff and faculty.
Warren parking garage surveying.
Yuma front desk staffing.
Office/furniture moves- lift requirement 25-50 lbs.
Facilities auxiliary /admin front desk office interfacing with
customers.
Assist with services for the WCL community members: room
scheduling, AU id card coding, parking kiosk assistance, locker
assignments/troubleshooting.
Assist with onboarding process for new staff and faculty to
WCL.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-time.
- 15 - 20 hours per week.
