Why Your Role Matters
The Web Analytics Coordinator supports the Data Analytics Specialist – Web in delivering web and mobile analytics, tagging, and tracking to enable accurate channel measurement and attribution.
This role plays a key part in maintaining stable, compliant, and high-performing websites, while proactively improving analytics capability and insight across digital channels.
The Web Analytics Coordinator has a direct reporting line to the Manager – Marketing Performance, and works very closely to the Data Analytics Specialist. This is parental leave cover until February 2027.
Main Accountabilities
- Act as the first point of contact for web analytics requests, triaging and prioritising stakeholder enquiries
- Support daily monitoring of web and mobile tracking to ensure data accuracy across key platforms and dashboards (mainly Power BI)
- Assist the Data Analytics Specialist in developing and maintaining data pipelines (utilising Python and SQL)
- Maintain and optimise web and mobile tagging using Adobe Launch to ensure accurate attribution and reporting
- Assist in the automation and delivery of regular performance and trend reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Support SEO assessment and website optimisation in collaboration with Web Technical and Marketing teams
Who You Are
You are analytical, curious, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in understanding digital performance and turning data into insight. You enjoy working collaboratively and communicating findings in a clear and meaningful way. You will also bring:
• Experience in digital analytics (must), with exposure to Python, SQL, or similar languages desirable.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI)
• A solid understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, technical SEO, and performance measurement
• Proven ability to derive insights and report effectively to support decision-making
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging with a whole range of stakeholders across the university needing analytics advice
