Web Content Specialist

Your next career opportunity

In this role, you will design and optimise high-impact student web content that enables confident self-service. You will translate complex policies into clear, student-focused experiences, shaping how thousands of students navigate key study decisions.

What you will deliver:

  • Design, write and edit student-facing web content that is accurate, accessible, task-focused and optimised for self-service.
  • Restructure complex content sets, information architecture and navigation to improve findability, clarity, and completion of key student tasks.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather inputs, validate content, negotiate scope and manage timelines.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics and feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of student digital experiences.
  • Implement metadata, tagging, taxonomy and service design recommendations that strengthen search, pathways and frontline enquiry reduction.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in digital content, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Bring 3+ years’ experience writing, editing and designing content for public-facing websites or digital channels.
  • Demonstrate ability to distil complex operational, regulatory or policy information into clear, plain-English, customer-centred copy.
  • Use enterprise content management systems to draft, publish and maintain structured web content at scale.
  • Apply accessibility and readability standards, including WCAG and plain English principles, in all digital content produced.
  • Leverage analytics and user feedback to assess content performance and prioritise evidence-based improvements across key journeys.
