Why Your Role Matters

The Web Producer plays a key role within the Digital Experience team, driving the creation, migration, and distribution of engaging, high-quality web content and experiences for UNSW Research audiences.

This role focuses on reviewing, analysing, and consolidating new and existing content, as well as restructuring, migrating, and creating web pages to enhance engagement and performance in line with SEO and GEO best practices.

The position reports to the Web Lead and has no direct reports. This is a fixed-term role until November 2027.

We also have two open additional fixed-term (12-month) Web Technical Producer roles with similar responsibilities and skill sets.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on audience-centric digital experience strategy, audits and content mapping, including discovery and original website design ideas and present recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Support the Web Lead on mid-large size digital experience and web migration projects collaborating in the development of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps that deliver effective experiences as part of go-to-market strategies to build awareness and generate engagement
  • Provide reports and analysis on web content and experiences against established performance metrics and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Support digital marketing initiatives by developing and incorporating market leading search strategy and insights and utilising tools such as SiteImprove, Adobe Experience Manager to optimise web content to ensure best practice SEO/GEO and to uplift the digital customer experience
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing & Digital Experience teams to build landing pages, optimise websites, journeys, and web and digital content for improved engagement and conversion
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to internal stakeholders in relation to web content functionality, performance and accessibility best practise

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who has great stakeholder management skills, who is aligned with UNSW’s vision and values and comes with:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, including reviewing, analysing, and consolidating web content
  • Demonstrated experience in SEO optimisation and web accessibility best practices
  • A solid understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles
  • Digital marketing experience, including web production and customer lifecycle marketing. Experience with Agentic Search Optimisation is highly regarded
  • Knowledge of digital content technologies and automation, including content and experience fragments
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is essential. Experience with tools such as Wrike, SEMrush, Siteimprove, and Figma is highly regarded
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and working across multiple CMS platforms, particularly AEM and Adobe Journey Optimizer would be beneficial (not essential)
  • The ability to present digital marketing insights clearly and effectively, and to engage and influence stakeholders

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, business hours. The job cannot be done fully remotely (two days a week on campus at this stage). The role is approved until November 2027.
