Welder starting pay is $27.07-$32.22.05 based on shift. Weekly Pay!

2nd Shift: 430PM-250AM Mon-Thurs

Weekend Night Shift: 5PM-5AM Fri-Sun

Double time after 50 hours worked in a week!

Join Veritas Steel as a Welder, where you'll play a vital role in the production of bridge girder components. This position involves a combination of welding, fabricating, and assembly operations, requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to meet high production demands. You'll ensure quality and safety while contributing to the construction of critical infrastructure projects. Welder also adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Must be 18 years old to apply.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Execute high-quality FCAW welding processes on structural steel.Set up and adjust welding equipment as required for specific tasks.Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overheadFabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per project specifications.Perform FCAW welding and other assembly operations to meet production standards.Utilize tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit of materials

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

1+ years of experience in welding; FCWA requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsCommitment to work safety and actively participating in our safety cultureQuality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performedWillingness to learn and contribute to the success of your teamAdherence to maintaining a great attendance record and dependability!

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 75lbs occasionallyMust be able to push /move objects up to 100 lbs. of forceNecessary to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heightsMust have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bending

Working Conditions: 

Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditionsMay be required to climb heights for workRegular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, Heights & other possible hazardous conditionsSafety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations
