Job Description

The Health & Wellbeing (Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes and initiatives which support the general NUS population, as well as specific employees who are exposed to acute mentally stressful events. You will work with a team that is dynamic, fun, and most of all, passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our people. As the Wellbeing Business Partner, you will be in charge of engaging various NUS departments to see the value of and seek buy-in for mental wellbeing programmes, as well as relationship-manage clients and internal stakeholders, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the NUS staff and student population:

  • Business Partnering
    • Strategic Consulting & Relationship Management
    • Identify and active engagement of NUS departments that may benefit from wellbeing programs and organizational development consultancy
    • Act as the wellbeing advisor to assigned departments, developing an in-depth understanding of their needs and challenges
    • Build strong relationships with departments and other stakeholders (including senior leaders) to seek by in and ensure alignment of objectives and resources
  • Programme Solutioning & Coordination
    • Use data, dashboards and evidence-based insights to understand existing gaps and propose suitable interventions with departments
    • Scope, propose and coordinate wellbeing workshops offerings based on client needs, together with other internal teams involved in the partnership
    • Support post-programme reporting to demonstrate impact and ROI of wellbeing initiatives.
  • Process & Capability Building
    • Partner internal teams to review, refine and enhance processes to enable more scalable and sustainable delivery
    • Contribute to the growth of HWB’s offerings by understanding emerging needs, trends and best practices from the ground, and working with internal L&D team for development of these offerings
  • Departmental Collaboration & Capability Support
    • Be trained in, and help deliver, flagship HWB programmes (e.g. Peer Staff Supporter trainings, other L&D workshops) to support scale, consistency and quality of service delivery
    • Provide operational support for broader departmental efforts as needed — including contributing to campaigns, events and cross-team projects — to ensure the collective success of HWB
    • Demonstrate flexibility and agility in taking on additional projects or priorities as they arise, in line with evolving organisational needs.

Qualifications

  • Degree holders related to health/mental health promotion (e.g. Masters of Public Health, Organisational Psychology)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Consultancy/Programme Management
  • Qualifications in Organizational Development work will be advantageous
  • Experience with delivery of trainings will be advantageous
  • Consulting mindset with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Relationship-builder who can manage multiple stakeholders and foster collaborative partnerships
  • Project coordination and solutioning capability (from scoping to delivery)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
