JOB DUTIES:
20% - Perform or assist with data entry, statistical analysis, literature review, maintenance of field equipment and vehicles, and generation of reports and publications. 30% - Manage amphibian, reptile, snail, and vegetation projects; conduct field work in challenging, remote environments with minimal supervision. 20% - Lead and provide technical support and training to project staff, interns, seasonal technicians, and students on forest and wetland habitat or species assessment. 30% - Assist faculty, staff, and students on forest and wetland projects, including coordination of field data collection and supervision of field crews consisting of students, technicians, interns, or other partners.

Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, wildlife management or related technical area and experience in fish, wildlife or marine resource management or research programs. A master's degree in biology, chemistry or wildlife management may be substituted for the required work experience.

Expected Salary Range -
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
