Qualifications - The student hired for this position should know how to:
- Effectively Communicate: Student must have effective and clear verbal and written communication (including listening skills).
- Demonstrate Critical Thinking: Students must engage in critical thinking (problem solving, decision-making, applied knowledge, creativity) to initiate and implement solutions to problems.
- Participate as a Productive Member of a Team: Student must use teamwork skills (relationship building, interpersonal skills) and become a contributor to the department.
- Utilize Information & Technology Effectively: Student must have current technology skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, etc.)
- Implement Self-Management Skills: Student must be dependable with strong work habits; able to manage time and priorities, work independently, punctual and operate for the greater good & provide service to all.
- Cultural Inclusion: Student must demonstrate openness, inclusiveness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and value individuals’ differences.
Days Needed: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Times Needed: Monday-Tuesday 9am-6pm; Wednesday-Friday 9am-5pm; Occasional Saturdays for college events
Additional Job Duties/Skills/Requirements: Assist students on Student Street, create photo IDs, conduct campus tours, greet students and visitors, and serve as a resource for general college information. This position may require a background check. Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Special Instructions to Applicants: STUDENT MUST HAVE WORK STUDY AWARD! During the Fall and Spring, student employees are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week and must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours. During the Summer, holiday break and spring break student employees are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week. Summer only, students must be enrolled in 3 or more credit hours. Student employees must always maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. This position may require a background check. Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
