Job Summary

The Office of Student Financial Aid seeks a federal work study student assistant to assist with daily duties. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing essential career readiness skills, including effective communication, collaboration, problem solving, professionalism, and digital literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Extends excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors
  • Provide user assistance in labs
  • Assists in updating webpages
  • Prepares and files documents
  • Completes tasks including typing, copying, faxing, shredding, etc.
  • Creates brochures, flyers, forms, surveys, etc.
  • Prepares activity reports and similar documents
  • Prepares and maintains spreadsheets
  • Runs errands on campus
  • Reports time daily
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Demonstrates excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines

Ability to concurrently handle both curricular and extra-curricular assignment
