Job Summary
The Office of Student Financial Aid seeks a federal work study student assistant to assist with daily duties. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing essential career readiness skills, including effective communication, collaboration, problem solving, professionalism, and digital literacy.
Must have completed a 25/26 FAFSA and be eligible
Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours during the summer
Responsibilities
- Extends excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors
- Provide user assistance in labs
- Assists in updating webpages
- Prepares and files documents
- Completes tasks including typing, copying, faxing, shredding, etc.
- Creates brochures, flyers, forms, surveys, etc.
- Prepares activity reports and similar documents
- Prepares and maintains spreadsheets
- Runs errands on campus
- Reports time daily
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Ability to concurrently handle both curricular and extra-curricular assignments
