Job Summary

This position is internal to University of Colorado PERA retirees. Key Responsibilities include ensuring the availability and distribution of electrical power to the UCD campuses for systems such as Energy Management (EMCS), lighting, power for telecommunications, computer networks, and managing the computerized Power Management Control System (PMCS). The role involves inspecting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems, responding to emergencies related to power, electrical, and fire alarm systems, and working with High Voltage switching, maintenance, and repair for the campus electrical system, including the main campus substation and Research 1 and Research 2.

Work Location: Onsite at Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Journeyman electrical license with experience in medium voltage switching and relay operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in medium voltage items including relay testing, breaker testing, and verifying relays and logic are working correctly.
