General Summary
Odessa College is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Wrangler Kitchen Express Front-of-House Associate to support daily operations at Wrangler Kitchen Express. This student position provides convenient food service to students, employees, and visitors while maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and organized Express location.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, responsible, comfortable working independently, and able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced campus environment.
Specific Position Duties
- Greet and assist students, employees, and campus visitors
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process transactions
- Serve and sell Wrangler Kitchen Express food, snacks, beverages, desserts, and grab-and-go items
- Receive and organize food deliveries from Wrangler Kitchen
- Stock and maintain food, beverage, snack, and service areas throughout the day
- Monitor product freshness, appearance, and appropriate food temperatures
- Maintain clean and organized counters, displays, equipment, and customer areas
- Assist customers with menu and product questions
- Communicate inventory and restocking needs to Wrangler Kitchen staff
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain an attractive and well-stocked Express location
Minimum Qualifications
Part-time hours, up to 19 hours per week. Schedule will vary within Wrangler Kitchen Express operating hours and may include morning and afternoon shifts. Must be dependable, organized, comfortable interacting with customers, and able to work independently when needed. Previous retail, cashier, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
