Job Summary

Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the open position of Academic Fellow. The Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacy Education at Xavier University College of Pharmacy is a 12-month postgraduate program offered to pharmacy professionals with a strong interest in pursuing a career in academia. The fellow will have the opportunity to train in a culturally diverse environment with practical experience in teaching, scholarship, service, and clinical practice. The academic fellow will work with administrators and faculty to gain teaching experience in a variety of classroom settings, precepting APPE students, and participating in scholarship. The program also includes opportunities to gain insights about curriculum design and program assessment. In the process, the fellow will obtain a teaching certificate. AA/EOE

Minimum Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree and PGY-1 residency training or pharmacy experience in clinical practice settings.
• Pharmacy licensure within State of Louisiana
• Curriculum Vitae & letter of intent
