College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time faculty pools to teach Astronomy within its Science Department continuously. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant of an interview. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, applications remain in the queue for consideration until the need arises, or for one year in active status.
PART-TIME POOLS
Part-Time Faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.
If you submit a duplicate application, only your most recent will remain active for one year.
Part-Time faculty positions are temporary positions and do not accrue rights to tenure.
COMMITMENT TO EQUITY
Sequoias Community College District is committed to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion and values candidates who have the ability to serve students from diverse academic, cultural, socioeconomic, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds, as well as those students who have been historically underrepresented in higher education.
