ZZU is seeking talents who have achieved systematic and innovative accomplishments in their field, made significant contributions, and possess extensive international academic influence, including recipients of prestigious international academic awards or leading scholars of equivalent caliber worldwide.

Leading Academics/Scholars

ZZU is seeking candidates with profound academic expertise and visionary scholarly perspectives, who have achieved internationally recognized significant academic accomplishments in their research field and are capable of leading their discipline to surpass or set international advanced standards as a disciplinary leader. Prior experience holding the position of an associate professor (or an equivalent or higher position) at renowned overseas universities or research institutions is required; however, exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered with relaxed qualifications under special circumstances.

Outstanding Young Scholars

ZZU is seeking candidates who hold a doctoral degree from a prestigious domestic or international university, with academic qualifications comparable to those of an assistant professor at a world-class university, and demonstrating the potential to become a leading talent. In addition to the above, the Excellent Youth Science Fund Project (Overseas) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) is a scientific fund project launched by the NSFC in 2021, which mainly targets the fields of natural sciences and engineering technology. Successful applicants will receive joint research support funds from the NSFC, Henan Province, and Zhengzhou University with a maximum total of 9 million RMB, and will enjoy globally competitive job compensation simultaneously.
