This position performs work as a lead zone proctor supporting 24/7 maintenance operations across assigned facilities. This position serves as a technical resource and lead for zone staff by assisting with task coordination, prioritization of work orders, and troubleshooting complex issues. They provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to ensure consistency in maintenance practices and adherence to safety standards. This position's normal work schedule is Monday to Friday during business hours, with occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday assistance as needed.

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:
Please make sure to include the following in your resume: job title, duties, months and years employed, and average hours worked per week as minimum experience is calculated on a 40 hour/week basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least three years of relevant full-time experience in an
occupation related to the assigned work (e.g. HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, controls, facilities maintenance).
- Substitution: Successful completion of a formalized
plumbing, pipe-fitting, steam-fitting, heating, ventilation, or an
air conditioning apprenticeship program. Higher level,
non-correspondence course work in the same fields from an
accredited vocational school or university may substitute for the
experience on a year-for-year basis
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using computers to monitor buildings tied into
Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Experience fixing and maintaining equipment and
machinery.
- Experience keeping activity logs.
- Experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
- Commercial building mechanical / trade experience
- Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple
tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and
the ability to establish rapport with persons of diverse
backgrounds.
- Experience that demonstrates strong customer service
skills.
- Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to handle
stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written form which
includes the ability to check for typographical, grammatical, and
spelling errors.
- Mechanical Ability.
- Physical Ability that meets the requirements of the job.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Must be a resident of the state of Colorado at the time of

- Must possess and maintain a current, valid State of Colorado
Driver's License.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as $4,955 - $5,946 per month.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
The above hiring range represents the university's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
