The Nangang Campus of the Biodiversity Research Center, Academia Sinica, serves as the central hub for cutting-edge research and graduate education in biodiversity sciences. Specializing in the study of Taiwan's rich biological diversity across terrestrial, freshwater, and marine environments, the campus hosts numerous research laboratories focused on systematics, ecology, evolution, and conservation. It is home to the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) in Biodiversity, a collaborative PhD program with National Taiwan Normal University, offering multidisciplinary training to over 40 faculty members' students.
