The Obuasi Campus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a specialized campus established to cater to the educational and developmental needs of the Obuasi community and surrounding areas, with a focus on mining and related industries. Officially opened in 2019, this campus was developed in collaboration with AngloGold Ashanti, reflecting its strong ties to the mining sector. It offers targeted programs that align with the region’s economic activities while promoting sustainable development and community engagement.
The Obuasi Campus is equipped with modern facilities, including laboratories and lecture halls, to support practical and theoretical learning.
