As all adults are role models for children, we collaborate with staff who are dedicated to students' learning and personal growth, and are caring, flexible, and have the knowledge and understanding to promote and integrate second language acquisition with Montessori pedagogy. Each staff member is committed to our inquiry-based curriculum.
Ongoing professional development is vital to enhancing the service that we provide, as well as to sustaining the wellbeing of the staff and the entire community. We offer in-service training and workshops pertaining to every aspect of the child’s and the adults’ whole development, and consistent with Montessori philosophy and second language acquisition. Staff from both our campuses collaborate regularly to share experiences, teaching resources, as well as successful practices.
MISSION STATEMENT
Pacific Rim International School (PRINTS) cultivates in students essential life skills through its focus on self-development, bilingualism, and internationalism within an AMI-accredited Montessori, dual-immersion environment.

For over 30 years, PRINTS has offered an exceptionally fulfilling educational experience for local families – a full and authentic Montessori experience in a dual immersion environment. Each of our tailored learning environments allows children to learn in either Mandarin and English, or Japanese and English. Starting in Fall 2021, our infant to primary levels also offer a Spanish and English program. PRINTS has fully trained AMI Montessori guides at every academic level. So whether you have a newborn (our innovative Infant Center is the first of its kind), toddler (we are much more than a preschool or childcare center!), elementary, middle school, or high school student, PRINTS has the program appropriate for your child's level of academic, social, physical, and emotional development.
We are the first Montessori school in the world that includes Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish, and the only Montessori school in the San Francisco Bay Area that holds the full AMI accreditation for children from infancy through to high-school age. We pride ourselves on our nurturing guidance, one based on a deep understanding of child development and careful observation of each individual child.
