The Main Campus of PV Belhekar Ayurved Medical College & Hospital in Bhanashiware is dedicated exclusively to Ayurvedic medical education and healthcare. Established to revive and promote traditional Indian medicine, it offers the flagship Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program with 60 seats. The campus integrates classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary clinical training through its attached hospital, emphasizing holistic healing, preventive care, and natural therapies. Students receive hands-on experience in diagnosis, treatment, and Panchakarma procedures, preparing them for global Ayurvedic practice.

  • Samhita & Siddhanta: In-depth study of ancient texts like Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, and Ashtanga Hridaya, forming the philosophical foundation of Ayurveda.
  • Rachana Sharir: Ayurvedic anatomy, including detailed knowledge of body structures, marmas (vital points), and srotas (channels).
  • Kriya Sharir: Physiology, covering dosha-dhatu-mala dynamics, prakriti assessment, and pathological processes.
  • Dravyaguna Vijnana: Ayurvedic pharmacology, identification, properties, and therapeutic uses of over 500 medicinal plants and minerals.
  • Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana: Preparation of herbo-mineral formulations, alchemy, and quality control of Ayurvedic drugs.
  • Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga: Gynecology, obstetrics, prenatal care, and women's health using Ayurvedic approaches.
  • Kaumarbhritya: Pediatrics, child nutrition, immunization alternatives, and neonatal care.
  • Shalya Tantra: Ayurvedic surgery, Kshara Sutra therapy, and management of wounds and fractures.
  • Shalakya Tantra: ENT, ophthalmology, and head-neck disorders treated with minimally invasive methods.
  • Kayachikitsa: Internal medicine for lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension using diet, yoga, and herbs.
  • Panchakarma: Detoxification therapies including Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana.
  • Swasthavritta & Yoga: Preventive medicine, public health, dietetics, and yogic practices for wellness.
