The Shihu Campus serves as the main administrative and academic hub of Suzhou University of Science and Technology, with a strong emphasis on foundational sciences, humanities, education, and management disciplines. Originally rooted in the former Suzhou Railway Normal College, it hosts a variety of programs focused on teacher training and liberal arts, alongside modern scientific research facilities overlooking Shihu Lake and Shangfang Mountain.
