PhD Opportunities at ARTIC

The Art Institute of Chicago does not offer PhD programs directly. However, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) provides advanced degree programs that may lead to doctoral studies elsewhere:

• Master of Fine Arts (MFA) - Various disciplines including Studio, Writing, and Visual and Critical Studies.
• Master of Arts in Art Education (MA) - Focused on art education and teaching.
• Master of Arts in Art Therapy (MAAT) - A program combining art and therapy.
