The academic year at the University of Central Florida is divided into Fall and Spring semesters, with optional Summer sessions:

• Spring Semester: Starts early January, ends early May
• Summer Sessions: Vary, typically from May to August
• Exam Periods: End of each semester
• Holidays: Include Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break
• Faculty Application Deadlines: Vary by position, typically ongoing
• Sabbatical Dates: Determined individually
