🎓 What is a Tutor in Higher Education?

A tutor in higher education refers to an academic professional who delivers individualized or small-group instruction to support student learning. This role emphasizes mentoring, clarifying complex concepts, and fostering independent study habits. Unlike lecturers who teach large classes, tutors focus on personalized guidance, making the tutor definition centered on direct student interaction.
