Conduct interviews with prospective students and facilitate
evaluation of transfer credits for admitted students.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Student Services ( NSS
) on recruitment and retention activities, including orientation
for students entering the major.
Verify academic standing for purposes related to financial aid
and the Board of Nursing.
Assist with the distribution and review of applications for
admission to the nursing major.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance
with college requirements.
Coordinate with the NSS Program Assistant I to ensure timely
communication with prospective and enrolled students.
Work closely with campus partners such as the Registrar,
Admissions, and Financial Aid offices to support student
success.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Master’s degree related to duties completed by date of
application;
- At least one year of experience in Counseling, Advising,
Education, or other related field;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of
audiences;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
and
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of
hire, and a willingness to travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Demonstrated experience with evaluating transcripts and new
student orientation.
- Demonstrated experience with Banner Student or other student
information systems.
