Rate My Professor Olivia Sonneborn

Olivia Sonneborn is a Lecturer in Nursing at La Trobe University. Her clinical and academic focus centres on perioperative practice, medical imaging and pain management. She is also a PhD candidate at La Trobe University, where she completed her earlier education. Sonneborn has contributed to research on operating theatre nurses knowledge of and attitudes towards perioperative pain management, with a key publication appearing in 2018. In 2024 she co-authored work examining advancing perioperative nursing education and surgical skills acquisition through a comprehensive approach, as well as the role of online learning in perioperative nursing education. She has been recognised as an inspirational teacher in nursing and midwifery at La Trobe University and has explored international aspects of nursing practice through professional development activities.
