Dr. Amit Gupta serves as the Founder and Director of Narayana Business School (NBS) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and holds the position of Director/Professor in the Department of Finance. Possessing over 25 years of extensive professional experience in academia and finance, he is qualified with an MBA, Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Master of Science (MS) in Finance, and a Ph.D. in Finance. Together with Dr. Purvi Gupta, he founded Narayana Business School 25 years ago, establishing it as an institution dedicated to developing leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets who can innovate, adapt, and lead in dynamic business environments. As a key member of the Academic Board at NBS, Dr. Gupta oversees the strategic direction, ensuring alignment between academic rigor and industry demands.
Under Dr. Amit Gupta's visionary leadership, Narayana Business School has achieved significant milestones, including AICTE approval for its programs, membership in AACSB and AMBA-BGA, and a consistent 100% placement record with partnerships from over 670 top recruiters.
