Dr Andrea Steele is a Senior Lecturer, Academic Chair, and Deputy Head of School (Learning and Teaching) in the School of Psychology at Murdoch University, where she has been employed since February 2014. She also serves as Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching and represents academic staff on key university committees, including the Dubai Academic Board, Singapore Academic Board, and Transnational Consultative Group, all within the College of Health and Education. Prior to her current roles, she worked as a Research Assistant at Curtin University Business School from June to December 2013 and at the University of Western Australia Business School from February 2010 to January 2014. Steele earned her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Western Australia in May 2015, a Master's degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology in February 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours in November 2007, also from the University of Western Australia.
Her research specializations include organisational psychology, educational psychology, and social psychology, focusing on areas such as leadership, identity development, student performance and progression, individual differences, and pro-environmental behaviour.
