Dr. Anh Ta is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he was promoted in 2025 following his tenure as Assistant Professor. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with High Honors in 2008, a Master of Business Administration in 2014, and a Ph.D. in Management Science with a minor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Texas in 2019. Dr. Ta maintains active memberships in the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS). His teaching interests include Supply Chain Management, Business Statistics, Project Management, Operations Management, and Healthcare Analytics. He also holds a Google Project Management Professional Certificate from Google, completed in December 2023.
Dr. Ta's research focuses on applying statistics and operations research to healthcare and examining information technology's influence on operations-related challenges.
