About Ann

Professor Ann Davis is a Professor (Education Focussed) in the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney Business School. She holds a BSc and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. With over 30 years of experience as a researcher and teacher, Professor Davis has held several key leadership positions in higher education. Prior to her appointment at the University of Sydney, she served as Director of Business Administration, Director of the Research Degrees Programme, and Associate Dean for the Undergraduate Programme at Aston Business School in the United Kingdom.

In 2018, Professor Davis was appointed Associate Dean for Academic Resourcing and Development at the University of Sydney Business School, a role she fulfilled until 2023. Her professional contributions include co-editing the textbook 'Human Resource Management: Strategic and International Perspectives,' published by SAGE Publications, with co-editors Jonathan Crawshaw and Pawan Budhwar; notable editions appeared in 2020. This work reflects her background in work psychology and human resource management. Professor Davis continues to contribute to the academic community through her teaching and leadership in the Business School's Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies.
