Azlina Aripin serves as a lecturer in the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences at Curtin University. She holds the position of adjunct lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Possessing 14 years of experience as a mental health nurse, she applies her clinical expertise to teaching and research endeavors. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing from Flinders University and a Master of Nursing from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. Azlina Aripin is currently enrolled in the PhD program at Curtin University. Her doctoral research examines how mental health nurses identify and address clinical deterioration in acute mental health environments, utilizing a mixed-methods approach.
Azlina Aripin has served as unit coordinator for key nursing courses, including NURS3001 Psychosocial Care: Understanding Health Complexity and CRIT3000 Nursing Practice for Health Complexity 1 Extended, within the Curtin School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences. She is affiliated with the Western Australian Mental Health Nurse Research Network as a member.
