Rate My Professor Baptiste Leurent

Baptiste Leurent is an Associate Professor in Medical Statistics at the Department of Statistical Science at University College London. He is also a member of the Biostatistics Group within the NIHR UCLH/UCL Biomedical Research Centre. He holds an MSc from the Paris Statistical Institute (ISUP) and a PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Prior to his current role, he worked at the French IRD in Thailand, the UK Medical Research Council, and LSHTM. His research spans various medical fields including HIV, malaria, mental health, and primary care. His methodological interests include missing data, cluster-randomised trials, and health economic evaluation, with a focus on practical methods for the analysis of clinical trials.
