Dr. Bruce Slatter is Deputy Head of School (Creative Arts) and Discipline Lead of Art in the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry, Faculty of Humanities, Curtin University. His comprehensive academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from RMIT University (2015), Master of Arts (Visual Arts) with Distinction from Curtin University (2003), Bachelor of Arts (Art) with First Class Honours from Curtin University (2000), Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Curtin University (1997), and Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) from Curtin University (1992). Slatter sustains a distinguished artistic practice primarily in sculpture, with recent expansions into collaborative painting alongside his partner Nicole Slatter.
