Dr. C. Ramesh Kumar Reddy serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, a position he has held since joining the institution on August 1, 2007. He possesses a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering and brings over 36 years of professional experience, encompassing 30 years in teaching, 18 years in research, and 6 years in industry. He has co-authored 47 publications in journals such as Knowledge and Information Systems, Indian Journal of Science and Technology, and International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies, with key works including 'A smart intelligent approach based on hybrid group search and pelican optimization algorithm for data stream clustering' (2024), 'RESTful Service based Software Defect Prediction using ML Algorithms' (2023), and 'A Key Exchange Approach for Proficient and Secure Routing in Mobile Adhoc Networks' (2017). He holds 5 patents, such as 'Smart Agriculture Using Sensors in Internet of Things (IoT)' (2021) and 'Real Time Multi Class Cardio Arrhythmia Classification Based on DNN Implemented in the IoT Cloud Platform' (2021).
