Chastity S. Jobe serves as the Administrative Assistant to Dean Dr. Stephen Cook of the Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She joined the university in 2007 and has provided nearly 18 years of dedicated service as of 2025. Her career progression includes roles in the Registrar's Office as transfer coordinator in 2008 and records coordinator around 2017, before taking her current position in 2018. As a 2016 graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, Jobe applies her firsthand experience as an alumna to her daily work. She particularly enjoys collaborating with the dean and faculty to support student success.
Jobe's commitment has earned her significant recognition, including the 2025 Hardin-Simmons University Staff Member of the Year award. She has developed key operational tools, such as a compensation request template, a year-end banquet planning timeline, and a record-keeping system for faculty enrichment funds, streamlining processes across the college.
