Chen-Chieh Feng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He serves as Programme Director of the Geospatial Intelligence Cross-Disciplinary Programme. His academic background includes a PhD in Geography from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, awarded in 2004, and a BS in Geography from National Taiwan University.
Feng is affiliated with the GIS Unit and the Tropical Environmental Change Research Group. His research focuses on geographic information systems, smart cities, spatial humanities, ontology, and spatiotemporal analysis. He has contributed to the development of NUS’s Asia’s first bachelor’s programme in Geospatial Intelligence, which integrates geographic thinking, computational skills, and AI for applications in smart urban systems, logistics, climate risk management, and real estate analytics.
