About Caleb
Caleb Hutcherson serves as Adjunct Faculty and Lecturer in Church History at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon. He earned his PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and holds a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary. Hutcherson is also Assistant Professor of Historical and Theological Studies at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary. His research explores practical theology, historical theology, contextual theological education, and the intersection of faith with everyday life among vulnerable and marginalized communities. He has published scholarly work including articles on practical theology in Arab evangelical perspective and collective theological reflection for mission in the Middle East. Hutcherson contributes to theological education through teaching and academic engagement in Lebanon.
His career includes appointments focused on church history and theological studies, with involvement in institutions emphasizing contextual approaches to theology.
